Gantsevichi district is located in the northeast of the Brest region, bordered by Luninets, Pinsky, Ivatsevichi, Liahovichi district of Brest region, dumplings and Soligorsk district, Minsk region. It stretches from north to south - 48 kilometers from west to east - 70 miles. Area 1710 km2. Most of the district is within the south-eastern part of Polesie. The surface is flat. The main elevation of 150-160 m.  The district has five small rivers flow - Cna, Bobrik, Lan, Vydrenka, Nach. There are 11 lakes, five reservoirs, nature reserves of national importance: Hydrology - "Vygonoshchanskoye" biological - "Bor", "Elovskaya" and the biological reserve of local importance - "Birky". Natural monument of local importance - Weymouth pine located in Krugovichskom forestry. There are deposits of mineral water, sand and gravel, building sand, peat, 89 500 hectares - of forest. Wooded area is 54.7%, 39.1 thousand ha of drained land. Dominated by mostly coniferous, black alder and birch forests. The average temperature in January is -5.30 C, in June - 19.40 C. Annual precipitation 616 mm per year. Vegitatsionny period 186 days.

In and around Gantsevichi has 36 historical monuments, 10 - Archaeology and 4 - architecture. Among the latter - in the village church Yurevskaya Budcha, St. George's Church in the village of Great Krugovichi, Yurevskaya church in the village Chudin.   The list of historical and cultural heritage of Belarus entered "Panska estate" in the village Ogarevichi - a monument of wooden architecture of the XIX century. To the monuments of nature can be attributed Oak-hero, whose age exceeds 400 years. It is located in the village of Great Krugovichi in the park of the former estate, which belonged to one of the oldest families in Belarus Abuhovicham.

        Closely acquainted with the history of the city and region can be Gantsevichi museum. The museum exhibits more than four thousand of archeology, numismatics, ethnography, decorative arts, paintings, photographs, documents and things. It exhibits a collection of stone axes, ethnographic and entomological collection. On the outskirts of the city poured into the tract Hills Mound of Glory in memory of those killed during the Great Patriotic War.

In Gantsevichi widely celebrated traditional folk festivals. One of the highlights is a celebration of Midsummer, which takes place July 6. Travel opportunities:

Lesoohotniche economy Hantsavichy forestry was established in 1991, is located on the eastern Hantsavichy Administrative Region. In the north, east and west of the farm borders on the hunting grounds "Gantsevichi ROS" proofing "BOOR" as well as no-hunting zone around the city Gantsevichi, southern farm borders on the hunting grounds of the OPD "Luninets."
